Anaesthesia:

Depending on the area and extent of Liposuction, the procedure can be performed under general or local anaesthesia. If it is just a small area of liposuction like double chin, localized fat pocket, the surgery can be done in local anaesthesia and you can go home after an hour or two of observation, but larger grades of liposuction should be done under General anaesthesia to ensure patient safety and also results. It generally takes 3-4 hours and you can return home by evening or next day.

Surgical Technique:

Few small incisions are made in area to be treated. Incisions are less than 0.5mm. Then using small cannulas fat is sucked out. Fat between the skin and muscle is sucked out using this technique and the space created after liposuction is collapsed using compression garment which gives contours.

The method we use ensures that there are no tell- tale signs of surgery as incisions are well hidden and are less than 0.5 mm.

Liposuction can also be clubbed with other procedures like tummy tuck and facelift.

Technology:

We use state of the art technologies like Microaire. It helps in faster recovery as there is less bruising, less swelling and less pain after the surgery. Also due to its heating effect it remodels collagen which helps in better skin retraction.
